Becoming an
affiliate marketer is easy. Doing it correctly to generate maximum commissions
is simple too. So why do so many fail as
online affiliate marketers? They struggle to succeed because they don’t know
the clever techniques used by the ‘big guns’. The waiting is over. It’s now
time to reveal to the world the secret strategies of the affiliate marketing
elite.
Affiliate
marketing is a simple concept based on someone (the affiliate) promoting
someone else’s product in return for a commission for any sales they generate.
A two tier affiliate program takes the process a stage further to generate even
more commissions.
Here’s an example.
Let’s say you found a site selling golf equipment that had a two tier affiliate
program. If you signed up, you could promote those products and earn, say, 50% commission for every sale
that you made – first tier. You could then go and recruit second tier
affiliates. These would be people who either have a large email list or a web
site related to the golf niche you are promoting. If they promoted, you would
get a percentage of their sales too, which could be around 10% for example.
But how do you actually
go about implementing this strategy successfully? Below are my top four secret
strategies to maximise your chances of success as a two tier affiliate marketer
/ virtual property broker.
One. The best
sites to broker for are ones that:
1) Pay at least
$10 for each sale your second tier (or sub) affiliate makes. (American sites
tend to offer more favorable commissions). With a $10 commission rate you could
make some serious cash brokering deals with people who have lists of 1000
upwards.
2) Have a “cookie”
tracking system for their affiliate program. That maximizes the chance of you
getting your commission whether your sub affiliate signs up the first time they
visit the site you are brokering for, or the twentieth time.
3) Provide ready
made marketing materials. This means you can take their promotion email and
send it to your sub affiliates. All they have to then do is sign up to the
program, copy and paste the ready made email promotion into their email
broadcasting software and hit send. This is the clincher as it makes it quick,
easy and free for your sub affiliates to make money.
Two. Finding sites
to broker for
Initially you
should broker for sites that you’re interested in. The more motivated you are
the quicker the cash will come in. (if you’re stuck for ideas visit
www.clickbank.com and search in ‘promote products’ and ‘marketplace’. Please
note Clickbank does not have two tier affiliate programs).
Now it’s just a
question of finding a site related to your market. Go to Google and type in
“(niche) two tier affiliate program”. Then search through the results and find
a site with a two tier affiliate program that matches the criteria above. Sign
up, get your affiliate link, then it’s time to move on.
Three. Finding
marketers to contact
There are a few
simple ways to find more potential deals to broker than you could ever have the
time to do so. The best tactic is to find people with ready made email lists of
people you know have an interest in the product you are brokering for. Then, one
email could potentially make thousands.
Go to Google again
and type in “(niche) ezine” or “(niche) eletter”. For example, type in “weight
loss ezine” and hit Google search. You’ll see thousands of results. Now
obviously not every single one of these will be a site with a weight loss ezine
(or e-letter) but thousands if not tens of thousands will. Then it’s just a
case of visiting the site, finding the “contact us” page and sending them an
email.
Four. Contacting
marketers
Next you need to
send out single emails (strictly no spam). It’s one email for one site owner
and that’s it. As this is a business proposition it is not seen as spam.
However, sending out one email to hundreds would be, plus you won’t get anyone
promoting for you anyway doing it that way.
Your email should
be less than 500 words as people are busy and don’t want to wade through a
stranger’s waffle. It should include:
1) The name of the web site where you found
information about the ezine.
2) The name of the ezine owner.
3) An explanation that by simply sending out an
email or adding a graphic to their site they can make money. Also explain there
are marketing materials are already provided so their work is minimal.
4) Instructions
for them to simply click on your link in the email and sign up to the affiliate
program and then they’re all set to make some more cash.
And that’s it. Go
through the list of sites with an ezine related to yours and send them an
email. Keep track of who you are contacting, and occasionally log into the two
tier site you are brokering for and see how much money you’ve made.
Finally we’re all
on a level playing field. Both the experienced and the newbie’s have got an
equal chance of success because for once reputation, marketing knowledge or
financial clout doesn’t matter. Not only that, but you don’t even need your own
web site or product! http://bonrah35.bdc123.hop.clickbank.net
